Fourteen years ago, the then 13 year old Siya Kolisi was pictured getting an autograph from Schalk Burger. He later went on to play with Burger for Western Province, the Stormers and the Springboks.
Today, Burger, who has now retired from international rugby and current Bok captain Kolisi, were pictured with their families on a Cape Town beach. Kolisi’s wife, Rachel, posted the now famous autograph picture along with a picture of the two families taken today, and added the words “This is a pic of Siya asking Schalk for his autograph 14 years ago. The 2nd pic is from today. #LifeHey”
